Fresh Food Delivery Driver - Non CDL

Job Description


OVERVIEW

Transport Sheetz products to the various Sheetz stores in a safe and timely manner.


RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

  1. Develop and maintain professional relations between the customer, store personnel and the company.
  2. Load and unload product in a manner that assure safety and minimal risk of damage to product. Verify that product is being held and delivered at appropriate temperatures to maintain product integrity, appearance and safety.
  3. Inspect truck for defects and safe operating condition before, during and after trips and submit written report on the condition of the vehicle at the end of each trip.
  4. Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and comply with all federal, state and local regulations for safe operation of a motor vehicle.
  5. Report all accidents involving driver and / or company vehicle.
  6. Report delays due to breakdowns, weather or traffic conditions or other emergencies, or in the event of irregularities to pick-up or delivery.
  7. Complete all necessary paperwork related to truck operations and movements with accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High School Diploma/GED

Experience

  • 1 year related experience

Licenses/Certifications

  • Valid driver’s license
