Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility
In 2020, we established our IDEA Initiative to continue growing in our journey of being the ‘best place to work’ for all. At Sheetz, IDEA stands for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility. From day one, Sheetz has always aspired to be a company where everyone, employees and customers alike, feel a sense of genuine belonging.
The I.D.E.A. initiative is our way of doubling down on our core value of RESPECT and ensuring that we’re focused on building a safe, equitable and inclusive workplace where anyone can succeed. Starting the I.D.E.A. initiative added a new dimension to our award-winning culture, but we still had a lot to do. To enhance our efforts, we established a dedicated IDEA team led by Alexandra Oles. Alexandra provides company-wide leadership and is a key contributor and influencer in advancing Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility throughout Sheetz.

Employee Resource Groups
In 2022, we launched our first employee resource group (ERG) “ELEVATE”. The ELEVATE Black Employee Resource Group, is our first ERG at Sheetz launched in 2022. Founded by a team of passionate employees, ELEVATE’s mission is to leverage the existing Sheetz DNA markers to foster a diverse and inclusive work environment with a particular focus on African American and Black current and future employees.
