We’re looking for an HR rockstar to support our transportation terminals in the North Carolina Market!
This position is a field role that allows for 2 days of remote work per week with required travel in the field (a minimum of 3 days per week on a rotating basis) to our terminal locations in Durham, Goldsboro, Greensboro and Charlotte, NC.

OVERVIEW
Provide direct support to the CLI HR Department, Terminal Managers, Assistant Terminal Managers and employees regarding all areas of Human Resources, including, but limited to, employee relations and culture. Provide guidance to managers and employees through interpreting policies and administering procedures in compliance with all federal, state and local guidelines and company policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
- Respond to Corporate/Terminal Managers, employees and applicants regarding a broad range of human resources and employee relations issues on a daily basis.
- Coordinate and conduct Employee Relations investigations in conjunction with Terminal and Corporate Management, including approval and/or execution of disciplinary action up to and including termination in accordance with company policy.
- Manage the Talent Acquisition process and provide recommendations to enhance recruitment program.
- Serve as a trainer/presenter at various company orientations, trainings and events.
- Collect, analyze and present data related to human resources and special projects.
- Coordinate employee medical and workers’ compensation leave.
- Assist with the development, alignment and implementation of company policies, procedures and programs.
- Manage and coordinate communication with vendors and field operations as it relates to human resources, employee recognition and special events.
- Serve as a liaison between CLI and Sheetz.
QUALIFICATIONS
(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource or Business related field required
Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ general HR experience required
Licenses/Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Certification preferred
