Sheetz Bros. Kitchen Maintenance Technician II

Job Description

2nd shift position with hours typically between 4:00pm-2:30am. Schedule includes 4-day workweeks, typically 10-hour shifts. 


OVERVIEW

Perform daily maintenance tasks, including equipment preventive maintenance, inspections, and facility maintenance.


RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

1. Perform daily preventive maintenance on food manufacturing and production equipment.
2. Trouble-shoot all equipment failures during production to reduce down time.
3. Conduct all work with a high level of cleanliness to ensure compliance with AIB, USDA, and FDA sanitation guidelines.
4. Embrace and follow all OSHA and Sheetz safety practices.
5. Perform general maintenance duties for facility and offices.
6. Assist members of the maintenance team with any projects as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS

(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)

 

 

Education

  • High School diploma / GED required
  • Technical / Trade training / Sheetz training required

Experience

  • 3 years in a maintenance atmosphere with an electrical background and safety training required
  • Experience working with conveyor systems, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), bulk handling systems, packaging equipment, welding, metalworking, HVAC, hydraulics, and pneumatics preferred

Licenses/Certifications

  • None required

Tools & Equipment

  • Hand tools (hammer, measuring devices, wrench, level, etc.)
  • Power Hand tools (saws, drill press, grinders, sanders, etc.)
  • Pneumatic tools (compressor, nailer, stapler, jack hammer, etc.)
  • Welding tools (torch, plasma cutter, welder, etc.)
  • Motorized Equipment (generators, pressure washer, fork lift, etc.)
  • Heavy Equipment: (Loader and attachments, lift, etc.)
