They are dedicated to improving the entire hiring process for our store management teams, as well as enhancing the brand experience for our candidates! They play a key role in finding, screening and selecting high-quality candidates in a dedicated market.


We are looking for talented individuals who have a proven track record of attracting top talent, conducting quality interviews and selection, and demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills. Our ideal candidate will also be highly proficient in Recruiting/Onboarding and Microsoft Office. Candidates must live within or relocate to the market.

The Field Recruiter plays a key role in finding, screening, and selecting high-quality candidates to work for Sheetz in our retail stores. The Field Recruiter will support the Talent Acquisition team in addition to building networks to attract candidates and build strong on the ground community presence.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned)

  • Assist with full-cycle recruiting, including but not limited to sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating drug & background checks, document verification, and onboarding.
  • Achieve staffing goals by maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organize, attend and execute high volume open houses, job fairs, and other recruiting events.
  • Serve as a liaison with multiple area employment agencies, colleges, trade schools and other associations.
  • Measure success of initiatives; timely completes metrics reports.
  • Regularly communicates with store operations the recruiting and hiring progress throughout the hiring cycle.
  • Maintains working knowledge of technology, applicant tracking, workforce projections, and industry trends.


 REQUIREMENTS: (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree preferred



  • Minimum of two years of experience in Talent Acquisition, recruitment, and/or sourcing required
  • Strong ability to professionally communicate the Sheetz brand to a wide-variety of audiences
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Highly proficient with technology (Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel, web and mobile applications)
  • Working knowledge and application of federal, state and local employment laws required



  • Valid driver’s license
