Talent Acquisition Specialist I - Corporate & Operations Support

Location: Sheetz Corporate - Claysburg, PA




Provide recruiting expertise to staff positions across Corporate and Operations Support. Provide recruitment marketing strategy, outreach, candidate screening, hiring process guidance and administrative support to hiring managers to ensure the timely filling of positions with high-quality talent. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned)

  • Under the direction of the Corporate Recruiting Advisor, recruit and maintain a qualified pool of applicants for key positions by utilizing a variety of online (job boards, databases, social media) and offline (job fairs, hiring events, community engagement) channels. Develop, post, & edit job announcements in collaboration with the TA Marketing team.
  • Conduct candidate screening activities to create efficiencies for hiring managers and HR business partners. Support lead generation campaigns with direct outreach (Phone, Text, Email, App) to candidates to qualify their interest and availability.
  • Develop quarterly hiring plans and recruitment marketing strategies by performing competitive analysis for roles in assigned areas.
  • Provide department heads with reports and metrics related to the performance of recruiting activities within their function to include: turn-over rates, competitive market salary comparisons, post-partum reviews of strategies to highlight success and areas for improvement; and other reports as needed.
  • Partner with subject matter experts on the Talent Acquisition team to develop advanced tactics for hard-to-fill roles and to facilitate efficient background checks.
  • Training hiring managers and HR business partners on best practices related to hiring, interviewing and selecting talent.
  • Utilize applicant tracking system and drug and background vendor to maintain a legally compliant hiring process.
  • Inspire and engage co-workers to create innovative solutions that drive and support the business.


REQUIREMENTS: (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)



  • 4 year degree in Human Resources or related field, required
  • Master Degree in Human Recourses or related field, preferred


  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the area of Talent Acquisition. 
  • Knowledge and application of employment law.
