Senior Administrative Assistant - Employee Relations

Location: Sheetz Corporate - Claysburg, PA

 

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:

Provide direct support to the Director of Employee Relations and department staff in the day to day operations of the Employee Relations Department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned)

  1. Assist with the resolution and response to employee relations issues on a daily basis.
  2. Order and provide stores/departments with required labor law posters.
  3. Receive, analyze and distribute daily Employee Hotline Calls and act as a liaison between the employee hotline vendor and corporate employees/hotline users.
  4. Review and update Sheetz, Inc. Employee Handbook as necessary.
  5. Coordinates the approval process for all rehires throughout Sheetz Inc.
  6. Coordinate and schedule meetings as requested.


REQUIREMENTS: (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)

Education

  • High school Diploma/GED
  • Some college preferred

 

Experience

  • 2 years in Human Resources or related field

 

Licenses/Certifications

  • None required
