SDS Senior Administrative Assistant

Location: Sheetz Distribution Services - Claysburg, PA


Sheetz Distribution is looking for a Senior Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the VP of Supply Chain and Director of Purchasing. Sheetz Distribuion is located in Claysburg at our state-of-the-art 400,000 sq. ft. facility. The Senior Administrative Assistant will be responsible for maintaining multiple calendars, meeting/appointment scheduling, taking meeting minutes as required, creating and maintining monthly newsletters, pulling and receiving metrics from several sources and create reports, booking travel arrangements, and providing general administrative support to the distribution team. This position requires intermediate to advanced Excel skills and experience maintaining multiple calendars in Outlook.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned)

  1. Assist with data entry, and compile and distribute daily, weekly and monthly reports.
  2. Assist with payroll functions as needed.
  3. Create Department newsletters, solicit content, design the layout, print and distribute.
  4. Monitor and order necessary supplies for the department.
  5. Assist with the planning and coordination of Team Member meetings and/or special events.
  6. Prepare visually appealing informational posting and other department communications.
  7. Prepare materials, take notes, and distribute the minutes for various meetings.
  8. Prepare materials for presentations.
  9. Coordinate the uniform/Sheetz Swag program.  Work with vendors to source new items, display samples, create order forms, collect and submit orders  from team members, and review invoices for accuracy.
  10. Handle all petty cash for the department.


REQUIREMENTS: (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)


  • High School Diploma/GED



  • 2 years experience in an administrative assistant role
