Purchasing Assistant

Location: Sheetz Distribution Services - Claysburg, PA



Assist Purchasing Manager with replenishment of assigned categories/products as well as managing, and ongoing maintenance of category reporting. Facilitate the distribution process and ongoing vendor management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned)
  1. Replenish stock in accordance with established replenishment cycles.
  2. Meet fill rates for all stock keeping units through effective distribution process management and manage inventory.
  3. Track vendor performance and services levels.
  4. Report and document product and vendor specific information.
  5. Provide customer service to all corporate and store level customers.
  6. Negotiate limited non contract related issues.

REQUIREMENTS: (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)

  • Technical / Trade training / Sheetz training
  • 2 years related experience
  • None required
