IT Universal Endpoint Management Unit Supervisor

Location: Sheetz Corporate - Claysburg, PA

All team members are remote due to the pandemic, keeping our employees safe is most important to us. After we transition back to office work when it's safe, we do have the option for remote work arrangements for candidates living within our 6 state footprint.

 

What you’ll do:

The Universal Endpoint Management (UEM) Unit Supervisor provides primary guidance and leadership to a specific UEM group as assigned, and assists the UEM Unit / Team Manager in making the operational/physical and human resource decisions that affect the team. This is the entry level of Universal Endpoint management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned)

  1. Maximize the development of internal talent through regular performance coaching, performance reviews and presenting developmental opportunities.
  2. Align area objectives with the strategic goals of the Department. Develop Internal Communications strategy that supports business and brand strategy and manage proactive and reactive Internal Communication efforts, which may include the directing of outside agency
  3. Monitor annual budgets for assigned area of responsibility to maximize profitability.
  4. Delegate, generate, and analyze a set of Performance Indicators for the UEM team.
  5. Ensure all systems comply to the standards established for Endpoint Performance, Backup/Restore, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery as required.
  6. Provide tactical leadership to assigned UEM group
  7. Participate in Critical Response Team and Architecture Review Board as required.
  8. Provide evening and weekend UEM support as needed. Sheetz is open 24/7/365 and as such, our internal and external customers may require support at any time.


Experience you’ll bring: 

Education

  • A four-year degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering; or a four year degree in another field of study which includes courses in computer programming, systems analysis, system development, or systems engineering is preferred.

Experience

  • 7 years of experience in a technology environment, to include:
    • 3 years of experience in a leadership role, including demonstrated success with multi-person or cross functional team leadership
  • Experience with Endpoint, Asset, or Lifecycle Management is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

  • ITIL certification is preferred.
