IT Universal Endpoint Management (UEM) Technologist

What you’ll do:

The Universal Endpoint Management (UEM) Technologist provides in-depth level endpoint management services and supports multiple major (cross-functional) initiatives relating to Device Management, Compliance, Monitoring, Versioning, and Asset Protection.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned)

  1. Initial and escalation resource for UEM technical issues and call tickets.
  2. Possess in-depth knowledge of one or more Endpoint Technologies and/or Endpoint Management Software solutions.
  3. Provide technical advice and counsel to less experienced UEM personnel.
  4. Provide a wide range of UEM functions including but not limited to: Device Imaging, Asset Management, Patching, Gold Image Versioning, and Software License Management
  5. Support the Inventory Lifecycle Management process, including ordering, distribution, tracking, and warranty information.
  6. Develop technical support documentation and SOPs.
  7. Provide in-depth analysis relating to Research and Development of new technologies.
  8. Provide in-depth analysis of Endpoint Security Protection technologies. Provide input to senior staff. Perform testing to validate that protection technologies are functioning as designed.
  9. Provide evening and weekend UEM support as needed. Sheetz is open 24/7/365 and as such, our internal and external customers may require support at any time.

Experience you’ll bring: 


  • A four-year degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering; or a four year degree in another field of study which includes courses in computer programming, systems analysis, system development, or systems engineering is preferred.


  • 5 years of applicable experience in a technology environment


  • A+ certification is preferred
