HR Senior Administrative Assistant

Location: Sheetz Corporate - Claysburg, PA

Level: 5 

 

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:

The primary purpose of the HR Senior Administrative Assistant is to provide administrative support for the Vice President of Human Resources.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned)
  1. Completes a broad variety of administrative support/tasks for the VP of Human Resources to include but not limited to: managing an extremely active calendar of appointments, answering calls, scheduling meetings, completing expense reports, and making travel arrangements/itineraries
  2. Serves as the point of contact between the VP and employees/vendors/customers
  3. Prepares and maintains agendas and meeting minutes
  4. Produces reports, presentations and correspondence on behalf of VP
  5. Provides accurate and timely reporting
  6. Welcomes guests by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries
  7. Schedules and plans department meetings & events; maintains the departmental calendar
  8. Provides administrative support for employee events, to include attending events
  9. Monitor and maintain department office supplies
  10. Develop and carry out an efficient documentation and filing system
  11. Maintain confidentiality in all responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS: (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)

Education
    High School Diploma/GED
Experience
  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Proven experience as an executive administrative assistant or other secretarial position or alternatively experience in the HR field in an administrative capacity
  • Full comprehension of office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Exemplary planning and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
  • High level verbal and written communications skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality
