Store Development Project Coordinator

Location: Sheetz Corporate - Gahanna, OH



Provide technical and administrative support to the Real Estate, Permitting, Engineering, and Construction teams throughout all phases of Store Development Projects along with performing office managerial functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned)
  1. Support the primary contact to financial institutions in securing funds for the preparation, issuance, tracking, and close out of Construction Bonds and Lines of Credit.
  2. Write checks for Permit Managers, Construction Project Managers, and Construction Managers for payments to municipal and utility entities for permits and services.
  3. Process invoices, confirm proper coding, reconcile checkbooks and prepare monthly general ledgers for submission to Accounting for the Engineering/Permitting and Construction Departments.
  4. Support the primary contact to provide updates to the Store Development Project Status Report.
  5. Organize and schedule various departmental meetings and functions.
  6. Act as office manager in support of all Store Development Departments. Perform general office duties in including but not limited to, answering telephones, word processing, copying, and filing.
  7. Provide Notary Services.
  8. Serve as a backup and functional expert for Store Development management programs. Provide regional support to other users.
  9. Customize contracts, safety, letters and prepare exhibits and purchase orders after contractor is awarded a project. Ensure documents are returned in a timely manner and upload completed documents to the Construction Document Manager.
  10. Support the primary contact to process and monitor various sensitive documents for construction and permits such as renewal of business license, registration forms, health department applications, etc. to federal, state, and local agencies.

REQUIREMENTS: (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Associates Degree in Business Administration preferred
  • 2 years related experience preferred.
  • In depth working knowledge of Excel, SmartSheet and other Microsoft Office Products required
  • Experience with Store Development projects preferred
    Notary Public or willingness to become certified within 6 months after hire.
