Senior Graphic Designer

Location: Sheetz Corporate - Altoona, PA

1. Define measureable, individual performance goals, monitor and communicate via regular feedback and annual performance reviews.
2. Provide developmental opportunities for all direct reports.
3. Lead the design team by assigning work, providing creative direction and ensuring consistency in execution of brand identity and personality in all channels.
4. Monitor all aspects of design projects to ensure completion within timeline and budget.
5. Produce a variety of design projects that effectively represent the brand in all communication channels
6. Work with sales managers and other project owners across the organization to develop creative briefs that effectively set up work for designers.
7. Lead the development of graphic design standards that ensure consistent representation of the brand in all communication channels.
8. Provide direction to agency and other outside vendors to communication brand standards and guide their work.
9. Provide art direction for media production, photography, video and digital communications.
10. Contribute to the development of brand identity standards and campaign strategy
11. Ensure highest level of print production quality by ensuring files are prepped accurately, monitoring production at all stages to achieve desired outcome.
12. Monitor design trends to ensure brand design is relevant and sets us apart in the advertising realm.

Bachelors degree in Graphic design or related field required

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a graphic design role at a company or agency required.
• Minimum of 1 year leading teams in graphic design projects required
• Minimum of 3 years working knowledge of computer design software and hardware required.
• In-depth knowledge of the graphic design space and how to effectively communicate using these mediums required
• Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
