Pre-Hire Administration Supervisor

Location: Sheetz Corporate - Altoona, PA

 

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:

Provide day-to-day supervision of the Pre-Hire administration function which includes drug and background processing and onboarding. This person will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to team members and serving as the escalation point for complex matters related to drug testing, background processing and onboarding.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned)
  1. Maximize the development of internal talent through regular performance coaching, performance reviews and presenting developmental opportunities.
  2. Manages the drug and background administrative process while making recommendations for system and process enhancements / changes.
  3. Manages the onboarding process while making recommendations for system and process enhancements/changes.
  4. Manages all vendor relationships and serves as primary contact between Operations and HR.
  5. Ensure all processes are compliant with applicable laws.
  6. Assist the Legal Department and/or Employee Relations regarding the company’s response to EEOC complaints, litigation, etc.
  7. Provide regular reporting of metrics related to drug and background processing (time reports, % pass/fail reports, etc) to Talent Acquisition and Operations.
  8. Provide education and training on specific processes to Operations and/or HR team as needed.
  9. Partner with the Supervisor of Talent Acquisition to ensure alignment of goals related to the Talent Acquisition Strategy.

REQUIREMENTS: (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)

Education
    Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required
Experience
  • 5 years’ experience in Human Resource or related field to include experience in employee relations, onboarding or drug and background testing required.
  • Knowledge and application of employment law required.
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
    PHR certification preferred
